Just a week ago, the Roborock robotic vacuum cleaner received a new version Roborock T6. Now the vacuum cleaner Xiaomi Mi Vacuum Cleaner, which was presented in the 2016 of the year, was quite unexpectedly refreshed. Nowadays, three years of product life is a good result for me - a pro-consumer one!
Xiaomi Mi Vacuum 1S has grown a bit, the dimensions of the new version are: 350 mm x 350 mm x 96 mm. The scale remained unchanged and is still 3,8kg. Xiaomi also placed the same battery with 5200 mAh capacity and 14.4V voltage inside. The power from 55W to 58W in the 1S version has been increased. Despite the increase in power, the battery life has remained the same. Power is enough for 2,5 hours of vacuuming, which translates to 120 square meters of the vacuumed surface. In terms of wireless connection, there is still Wi-Fi working in the 2,4 GHz frequency.
The manufacturer has moved the front sensor to the top of the device. To protect the sensor, Xiaomi used Corning Gorilla Glass. The upgraded model has the same LDS sensor as the Roborock T6. Thanks to this, mapping and room recognition will be significantly improved. The new version of the vacuum cleaner allows you to distinguish rooms and name them.
In the Mi Home application, each room will have a separate color, a very useful solution. Dirty in the living room and guests will arrive soon? All you need to do is start the scene "vacuum the living room", simple? Sure. You can also set it to dust the kitchen every day at 10, and the salon at 15.
The new version is supposed to be more accurate in cleaning by 40% relative to Xiaomi Mi Vacuum Cleaner. Mi Vacuum 1S offers 2000 PA suction power, for comparison the 1800 PA has one. Xiaomi Mi Vacuum 1S has all the positive qualities of the first generation, such as intelligent battery management. If the battery level falls below 20%, the vacuum cleaner will return to the charging station. Will resume cleaning when the battery is charged to 80%.
Vacuum cleaner Xiaomi Mi Vacuum 1S has been priced in China at 1999 yuan, $ 297. Stores offering shipping to Europe will certainly sell a more expensive vacuum cleaner.
