New generations of iPads from Apple can gain completely new cameras. iPad Pro will probably get triple cameras, as will the upcoming 11 iPhones. The new iPad, which will also be the first in the offer (in terms of price) can get a dual main camera - sources in China.
The Mac Otakar blog mentions Chinese supply chains that say the fourth generation 11 inch and 12,9 inch iPad Pro will receive the same sensors as the upcoming iPhone generation.
At the same time, the new iPad, which will receive a larger 10,2 inch screen, compared to the current 9,7 inch, will have two cameras. They will probably be inherited from the current XS and XS Max iPhones.
New iPads will be presented in October, if you believe the sources of the MacOtakar website. Apparently, new accessory designs have also been released, but it is unclear whether they are Apple products or maybe third-party products.
The use of triple and dual cameras in iPads may be associated with the development of augmented reality technology. Perhaps the new cameras will cope better with this task. It is hard to imagine that someone would like to take photos with the iPad every day, although the availability of such a function is always welcome.
