Apple releases iOS 13 and macOS Catalina updates

Apple today released an iOS update to 13.1.3 and a collection of patches for macOS Catalina. I must admit that updates of this year's systems from Apple are quite frequent, which can only please users.

IOS 13.1.3 update:

  • solves the problem whereby incoming calls may not be signaled by a ringtone or vibration
  • fixes an issue that could prevent meeting invitations from being opened in the Mail application
  • fixes an issue in which Health app data may not display correctly after daylight saving time changes
  • removes the problem that the recordings from the Voice Recorder application may not have been downloaded to the device after restoring it from a backup in iCloud
  • fixes an issue that could prevent the application from downloading when restoring the device from an iCloud backup
  • fixes an issue that could prevent Apple Watch from pairing
  • fixes an issue that could block notifications from receiving on Apple Watch
  • removes the problem that could cause Bluetooth disconnection on some cars
  • improves the reliability of connections with hearing aids and Bluetooth hands-free kits
  • speeds up the launch of applications using Game Center

MacOS Catalina update:

  • Improves the reliability of macOS Catalina installations on Macs with low disk space
  • Fixes an issue that prevented the Setup Assistant from completing in some installations
  • Addresses an issue that prevented you from accepting the iCloud Terms and Conditions if you were logged in to multiple iCloud accounts
